High Precision Gears

What are High Precision Gears?

The function of gears is to accurately transmit rotation and power from shaft to shaft.
High precision gears are those with minimal profile error and therefore are quieter and less prone to vibration.
Specifically, high precision gears are those that meet the following conditions:

  1. With correct involute tooth profile
  2. No error in tooth trace
  3. Good tooth contact
  4. Minimal pitch error
  5. Runout of the center must be small and the center of the gear must not be eccentric

In addition, the grades of JIS, AGMA, ISO, DIN, etc., which represent the actual accuracy of gears, are determined by each country and are utilized.
